Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Skip Words stores all of your game data locally on your iPhone. This includes:

• Game packs: The original pack, custom packs you create, and AI-generated packs
• Custom cards: Words and skip words you manually create
• Game settings: Your preferences for round duration and other gameplay options
• Game history: Scores and results from past games (if stored)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the AI Pack Generator feature (see below) or delete and reinstall the app.

Information Sent When Using AI Pack Generator

When you choose to use the AI Pack Generator feature, we send the following information to our AI service provider:

• Your pack theme/topic: The text description you enter (e.g., "80s Movies," "Marine Biology")
• Pack size: Whether you selected 50, 100, or 150 cards

Important: Using the AI Pack Generator is completely optional. You can use Skip Words without ever generating an AI pack. When you do use this feature, only the specific pack request information is transmitted.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Location data or device identifiers
• Information about your gameplay habits or behavior
• Analytics or usage statistics
• Any personal information whatsoever

2. How We Use Information

Local Data

All locally stored data is used exclusively to provide the game experience—displaying your packs, cards, and game settings. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

AI Pack Generation Data

When you use the AI Pack Generator:

• Your pack theme and size are sent to our AI service provider (OpenAI or similar)
• The AI generates words and skip words based on your theme
• The generated pack is sent back to your device and stored locally
• We do not store your pack requests or generated packs on our servers

The AI service provider may process and temporarily store your requests according to their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing OpenAI's privacy policy at openai.com/privacy if you have concerns about AI-generated content.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Skip Words uses the following third-party services:

• AI Service Provider (OpenAI or similar): Only when you use the AI Pack Generator. Your pack theme and size are transmitted to generate custom packs. See their privacy policy for details on how they handle data.
• Apple App Store: Download and installation are handled by Apple. Review Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.

No Advertising or Tracking Networks

Skip Words does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or tracking SDKs. There are no ad trackers, no cookies, and no third-party scripts monitoring your activity.

4. Data Security

Since Skip Words stores all game data locally on your device, the security of your data is primarily managed by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, device encryption).

For AI Pack Generation requests transmitted over the internet, we use industry-standard HTTPS encryption to protect data in transit.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Local Data

All game data remains on your device until you:

• Manually delete a pack or card within the app
• Delete the Skip Words app from your device
• Reset or restore your device

We have no access to this data and cannot delete it remotely.

AI Generation Data

We do not retain logs of your AI pack generation requests on our servers. Any temporary processing by the AI service provider is subject to their data retention policies.

6. Children's Privacy

Skip Words is suitable for users of all ages, including children. We take children's privacy seriously:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction)
• No account creation or personal information is required to use the app
• The app does not contain advertising or links to external websites (except the optional AI feature)
• Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of the AI Pack Generator, as it transmits user-inputted themes to a third-party AI service

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

• Access: All your data is stored locally on your device and accessible within the app

• Data portability: Your data is stored locally and moves with your device backups (iCloud, iTunes)

8. International Users

Skip Words is available worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device, there is no international transfer of personal data to our servers. If you use the AI Pack Generator, your pack request may be processed by AI service providers located in the United States or other countries. 9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
• Significant changes will be communicated through the App Store update notes
• Your continued use of Skip Words after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
